Let's Work Together

Ernest Hemingway practiced handwriting long before his work influenced the world.

Wearing down seven number-two pencils is a good day’s work.”
– Ernest Hemingway

Welcome to Handwriting @ Home, a blog dedicated to helping involved parents. This is our first post.

Handwriting @ Home is written by the team at The Pencil Grip, Inc., the leaders in ergonomic writing aids. Dr. Lois Provda, a prominent educational therapist, invented our namesake product The Pencil Grip. As a company we make products that help make handwriting easier, but that only fulfills part of our mission. Teaching, and teaching handwriting goes beyond products and requires sharing knowledge and experiences.

Our experiences are important to share, but so are all of yours. We want to know what you do that works, and what doesn’t.

Teaching handwriting is an opportunity to help children get ahead in the world. It is a way to instill a love of learning, writing and drawing. It is a tremendous opportunity to make their lives better. Handwriting @ Home strives to prepare involved parents to confidently help their children.

Are you ready to get started?

Let’s wear down our pencils and work together.
